2015 Arab Health Award for Innovation & Achievements
In a very glamorous award ceremony in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center on the 27th of January, 2015, Professor Tawfik Khoja received the 2015 Arab Health Award for Innovation & Achievements, category: Outstanding Contribution of an Individual in Healthcare Industry in the Middle East; from Informa Middle East Group which took place alongside the Arab Health Conference and Exhibition. The award ceremony was attended by many leading professionals and companies in healthcare as well as speakers and participants in the Arab Health Conference and Exhibition.
Professor Khoja after receiving the award , said that he thanks Allah the Almighty and Glory to Him for His blessings and rightness ever granted to him and for receiving this valuable award of which he is very proud, being an award given from high caliber leaders in healthcare industry. He also said that this recognition is not only for his person but for all the team working with him in the Executive Board, for whom he feels deep respect and he derives strength to face challenges to improve performance andlook forward towards more achievements.
Professor Khoja thanked Informa Middle East Group for the excellent organization and the discernible efforts to carry out the noble mission to provide the best healthcare to the citizens in the Middle East; where this award aims at recognition of the achievements made by the professionals and leaders in the field of healthcare, who are devoted to make outstanding achievements in upgrading health services in the light of the growth of this industry in the Middle East and the great successive technological developments in this field.
This recognition, no doubt, reflects the leading role played by the Executive Board with its many programs and activities which cope with the modern age, and which attain the support of their majesties and highnesses the leaders of the member States in the Health Ministers’ Council for Cooperation Council States.
There is no doubt that this award will be a great drive and motive to sustain the developmental efforts and keeping up distinction and excellence in the work of the Executive Board . We will do our best to sustain development of work methods to keep this prestige and achieve these ambitious hopes. This will be through the continuous support on the part of the Health Ministers of the Cooperation Council, the Executive Body Members and the Executive Body staff, for whom all Professor Khoja bears all appreciation and thanks
