Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Iraq

CCHF infection has largely increased in Iraq and with hundreds of cases reported since 2021. Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever – Iraq (who.int) This project involves preparing effective treatment and vaccines in collaboration with the University of Basrah, the University of Baghdad, and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Scripps Research, California, USA. Ongoing research and publications are being developed.
