Athena SWAN Success: Elizabeth Dubois

June 2013

The British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) holds a ‘Research Presentations Day’ each year where women postgraduate students are invited to give short presentations of their research work. Doctoral Researcher, Elizabeth Dubois, was one of eight women selected to present on her PhD thesis Health Checks in Primary Care: Steps to Improve Population Health on 11 May 2013. The BFWG’s Research Presentation Day provides the unique opportunity to hear women present their PhD research and meet young academics. Congratulations to Elizabeth on her achievement.

The BFWG was originally founded to promote women’s opportunities in education and public life with particular concern for issues relating higher education. It is part of the International Federation of University Women (IFUW) and linked to the University of Women in Europe (UWE) and the United Nations (UN).
