Dr Alex Chen sharing health policies & management strategies in Japan

Dr Alex Chen, a PhD student at the WHOCC, was invited to give a full day lecture at the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in Japan, Fukuoka, last week. He had shared the health policies and management strategies in EU and North America about reducing hardwood dust exposure for preventing paranasal sinus cancer & nasopharyngeal cancer. He also provided some suggestions to Japan government on wood dust exposure prevention. During his journey in Japan, he met the senior officers of Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and shared the Taiwanese experience on occupational health promotion with them.
