COVID-19

Since the start of the pandemic, the WHOCC has taken a very active role. By the end of 2023 we have:

• presented 30 weekly webinars and 100 media appearances
• published over 20 original research papers
• delivered 7 training courses on emergency preparedness and emergency response

The WHOCC has also contributed and provided guidance to:

• WHO EMRO Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19
• Supreme Advisory Committee on COVID-19, Iraq
• Abu Dhabi Scientific and Technical Advisory Group for Emergencies (STAGE)
• Imperial College Advisory Group on COVID-19
