📣 Exciting News!

Last week in Saudi Arabia, we wrapped up a transformative three-day "Training of Trainers" workshop to amplify the impact of training in public health emergency preparedness! 🚀

🔑 Workshop Focus: Our dedicated trainers in the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are gearing up to empower Rapid Response Teams for emergency preparedness, utilizing the meticulously adapted materials crafted for them by our WHO Collaborating Centre for Public Health Education and Training, Imperial College London and Itkan Health Consulting team over the last two months with final edits that happened in the Adaptation Workshop of the World Health Organization RRT ATP Online Package. 🏥🌍

💪 TOT Workshop Objectives:

  • Understand Effective Training Foundations
  • Design Engaging, Tailored Training Programs
  • Enhance Presentation & Communication Skills
  • Apply Diverse Learning Styles
  • Assess Training Needs & Evaluate Impact

🌐 Competencies Gained: Upon completion, our trainers are equipped to:

  • Design impactful public health training programs.
  • Deliver complex concepts with clarity and engagement.
  • Adapt to diverse learning styles.
  • Identify and address training gaps.
  • Continuously improve their programs.

  • Utilize eLearning tools effectively.
  • Hone leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Handle challenging situations with finesse.
  • Embrace feedback and reflection.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough workshop evaluations.

These competencies are the bedrock of our commitment to excellence in public health training and part of our 4-week advanced academic training programme, which we tried to shorten for this MOH workshop. Our incredible WHOCC team: Celine Tabche, MRSPH, AFPH, MSc, ANtrzeenah atwanMays Raheem, and Professor Salman Rawaf created and delivered this training workshop in a couple of days with an online session from Ela Augustyniak - for more information about our full programme, visit our website: imperialwhocc.org.

These trainings help us ensure we're always prepared to safeguard communities and respond effectively to emergencies. 🌏

Stay tuned for the incredible work our MOH trainers will do in training the next generation of Rapid Response Teams!
